About

I joined Hill & Kinsella in June of 2015. I received my Law degree from Stetson University College of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2012. As an Elder Law Specialist my practice includes Medicaid Planning, Estate Planning, and Probate Administration.

In 2004, I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Degree in Legal Studies, which included a Minor focus in Business Administration. In the Fall of 2007, after working for a few years with Costco (still one of my favorite companies), I decided to attend law school at Stetson. Much of my upper level curriculum consisted of coursework in the area of Elder Law.

Attendance at Stetson provided me with many unique opportunities such as my study abroad experience in Ireland and Northern Ireland and my Judicial Internship for the Honorable Judge K. Rodney May of the United States Bankruptcy Court in Tampa. At Stetson I served as Secretary of Stetson’s Elder Law Society and Vice President of Stetson’s Maritime Law Society.

Now, as a member of the Florida Bar, I am part of the Elder Law Section and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. My professional memberships and affiliations include the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Florida Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, St. Petersburg Bar Association, and Clearwater Bar Association. Formerly a resident of St. Petersburg, I had the opportunity to sit on the St. Petersburg Commission on Aging. I have also served as a Board member on the Gulfport Multipurpose Senior Center Foundation. As a member of the Clearwater Bar Association, I was the Co-Chair of the Probate and Real Property Section for 2014-2015.

Away from the office, I enjoy spending my time with my wife and four children, three boys and a girl. We spend most of our time at the Hockey rink or Lacrosse field. Growing up and in college I was active in both Hockey and Lacrosse. I enjoy assisting as a coach for my two older sons in both sports. My daughter and youngest son are not old enough just yet, but I hope they take interest one day. Right now they love cheering for their older brothers. Our other family interests include boating, surfing, snowboarding, and kayaking.

As hobbies go, I have a unique interest in Maritime History, with a specific focus on the RMS Titanic. I also enjoy and collect antique automobiles, particularly 60s era Lincolns.
