I joined Hill Law Group in June of 2015. I received my Law degree from Stetson University College of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2012. As an Elder Law Specialist my practice includes Medicaid Planning, Estate Planning, and Probate Administration.

In 2004, I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Degree in Legal Studies, which included a Minor focus in Business Administration. In the Fall of 2007, after working for a few years with Costco (still one of my favorite companies), I decided to attend law school at Stetson. Much of my upper level curriculum consisted of coursework in the area of Elder Law.

Attendance at Stetson provided me with many unique opportunities, including my study abroad experience in Ireland and Northern Ireland and my Judicial Internship for the Honorable Judge K. Rodney May of the United States Bankruptcy Court in Tampa. At Stetson, I served as Secretary of Stetson’s Elder Law Society and Vice President of Stetson’s Maritime Law Society.

Now, as a member of the Florida Bar, I am part of the Elder Law Section and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. My professional memberships and affiliations include the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Florida Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, St. Petersburg Bar Association, and Clearwater Bar Association. Currently, I sit on the St. Petersburg Commission on Aging and serve as a Board Member for the Gulfport Multipurpose Senior Center Foundation. As a member of the Clearwater Bar Association, I was the Co-Chair of the Probate and Real Property Section for 2014-2015.

Away from the office, I enjoy spending my time with my wife and three children. We spend the majority of our time at the Hockey rink or Lacrosse field. Growing up and in college I was active in both Hockey and Lacrosse. As a father, I enjoy coaching both of my sons in each sport. My daughter isn’t old enough yet but I hope she will take interest one day. Right now she loves cheering for her brothers. Our other family interests include golfing, surfing, snowboarding, boating and kayaking. Just recently, we welcomed three greyhound rescues into our home.

As hobbies go, I have a unique interest in Maritime History, with a specific focus on the RMS Titanic. When I can, I spend time studying the ship itself as well as the story behind its contemplation, construction and eventual loss. I also enjoy antique automobiles and love to attend car shows.
